Welcome to SmartTags.co.za, operated by Glamrock Trading (Pty) Ltd (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By using or purchasing from this website, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

1. General

These Terms & Conditions apply to all users of this website and to all transactions conducted through it.
By shopping on SmartTags.co.za, you agree to comply with South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA).

We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of this website constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Products and Customisation

  • SmartTags.co.za offers NFC and QR-based smart products including Review Table Talkers, Smart Business Cards, Emergency Medical Tags, and Pet ID Tags.

  • Product images are for illustrative purposes only; slight variations in material or color may occur.

  • Custom, engraved, or personalized items are made to order and cannot be refunded. In the event of a manufacturing defect or error, the item will be replaced at no additional cost.

3. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable.

  • We accept secure payments via PayFast, Yoco, or EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer).

  • Orders are only processed once full payment has been received and confirmed.

4. Delivery

We deliver nationwide through The Courier Guy and PostNet to PostNet.

  • Fixed delivery fee: R65.00 (nationwide).

  • Processing time: 1–2 working days after payment confirmation.

  • Estimated delivery times:

    • Major cities: 2–3 working days

    • Outlying areas: 3–5 working days

  • SmartTags.co.za is not responsible for courier delays or events beyond our control.

5. Returns & Replacements

We aim for complete satisfaction with every purchase.

You may request a return or replacement if:

  • The item is defective, damaged, or incorrect upon arrival.

  • The request is submitted within 7 days of receiving your order.

  • The product is returned in its original packaging with proof of purchase.

Please note:

  • Custom, engraved, or personalized items will not be refunded but will be replaced if found faulty.

  • Replacement items are issued once the returned product has been received and inspected.

  • Requests must be made through your online account for tracking and verification.

To request a return or replacement:
Log in to your account on our website and go to Account → Returns to submit your request.
You’ll receive confirmation and next-step instructions via email once logged.

6. Warranty

All SmartTags products are covered by a 6-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects.
This warranty excludes damage caused by misuse, neglect, or normal wear and tear.

7. Use of SmartTags Products

SmartTags rely on NFC and QR technology. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure their device supports these features.
We are not liable for:

  • Incorrect data entered by users.

  • Third-party service or connectivity issues.

  • Any loss resulting from improper or unauthorized product use.

8. Intellectual Property

All website content, product designs, and brand materials are the property of Glamrock Trading (Pty) Ltd and are protected under South African copyright and trademark law.
No content may be copied or reproduced without written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

Glamrock Trading (Pty) Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from product use, delivery delays, or access issues.
Our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the product(s) concerned.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Your persona Privacy Policyl data is processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Any disputes will be resolved in a South African court of competent jurisdiction.
